New Orleans, LA - Two rising stars from The Business of Dance online mentorship program, Keyaura Km from Seattle, WA, and Alaina David from Darby, Pennsylvania, joined the field cast during the Super Bowl Halftime Show, performing alongside Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Samuel L. Jackson, and Serena Williams at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Under the creative direction of Charm La’Donna, Keyaura and Alaina rehearsed for two weeks, bringing their talent, dedication, and energy to one of the most-watched live events in the world.

This extraordinary opportunity was made possible through the unwavering mentorship and industry connections of Menina Fortunato, who has been instrumental in preparing both dancers for the professional world. Fortunato has worked closely with them, teaching them the ins and outs of the dance industry and equipping them with the tools needed for success.

"I'm so proud of both of them. They seized the opportunity," said Fortunato. "I knew this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity would be life-changing for them."

Due to work and school commitments, Alaina and Keyaura almost didn't accept the offer. With just one day to drop everything and get to New Orleans, they faced numerous hurdles and challenges that nearly prevented them from making it. Fortunato was there every step of the way, ensuring they overcame every obstacle to claim their rightful place on stage.

The entertainment industry moves fast, and sometimes, it requires saying YES and dropping everything at a moment’s notice—even when it's not convenient. "When opportunity knocks, you answer," says Fortunato.

Performing in front of 120 million viewers and 65,000 live spectators, this monumental moment officially launched their professional careers—a testament to their hard work, resilience, and the power of mentorship.

This marks the third consecutive year that dancers from The Business of Dance mentorship program have performed on the world’s biggest stage. In 2024, 12 mentees danced in the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Usher, and in 2023, one mentee performed alongside Rihanna in her record-breaking halftime show.

The Business of Dance continues to transform lives by providing aspiring dancers with the guidance, resources, and industry connections they need to thrive on the world's biggest stages.
