From the racetrack to the basketball court, entrepreneur, professional race car driver racing Ferrari’s and business executive Yousuf Nabi is taking on a new challenge this season as a coach with NJB Basketball – Chino Valley.
Nabi’s career has been built around competition, leadership and entrepreneurship. As the founder and CEO of GothamIP, he has developed and managed a diversified portfolio of companies spanning multiple industries, including food and beverage, franchised retail, professional services and other business ventures.
At the same time, Nabi has help build Gotham Motorsports into a professional racing organization, competing in Ferrari’s and other professional motorsports programs across the United States.
Now, Nabi is bringing the lessons learned from the racetrack and the business world to the basketball court.

The transition from racing to coaching may appear to be an unexpected one, but Nabi sees a strong connection between all three of his worlds: motorsports, business and athletics.

“I’m excited for the season ahead and for the opportunity to work with these young athletes,” Nabi said. “We’re going to compete, we’re going to learn, and we’re going to have fun. My goal is to help every player become a better basketball player, teammate and leader.”
